Born and raised in Berlin, Philipp studied film in NYC at SVA Film School. Not only an actor but also an award-winning filmmaker, Philipp splits his time between the US and Europe, working on films, music videos, and commercials as a writer, director and editor. He is also the founder and Creative Director of The FilmGym, whose films have won various awards all over the world. As an actor, he is David Brenner on the long-running German television soap opera, Gute Zeiten, schlechte Zeiten (English: Good Times, Bad Times) and Baum on Youtube's original scifi series, Origin.
