Jeremy is Monica’s longtime best friend and also husband to Gina. A freelancing photographer, he has an unpredictable and nomadic lifestyle. When Gina wants to move to Austin, he doesn't think it's a big deal and plays along without any resistance, even defending Gina's choice when Monica questions it. But once relocated, he realizes the gravity of this decision as he is stuck in unwanted solitude in a new city, while the wife who wanted to move still travels for her modeling gigs. When Monica gets him a freelancing job in his new town, he eagerly and gratefully accepts. But things get complicated when he finds himself alone and in love with Monica.
